Both girls helped lead their respective teams to the playoffs this past season. Anderson was a part of the Trojans’ postseason run that saw the El Dorado Hills squad reach the NorCal finals at Sleep Train Arena while the Lady Diamondbacks enjoyed their best-ever (20-8) season in program history and first playoff appearance since 2007.
Mueller’s Union Mine teammate, Madison Aliff, was selected as an alternate according to information the Democrat received from the D’back program but will not be playing. The last Union Mine player player selected to participate in the girl’s game was Meghan Verbitsky in ’07.
Anderson was selected yesterday to the girl’s All Metro Second Team.
Tip off tomorrow is at 4 p.m.
