From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Red Hawk Casino will host a giant race car display as some 20 race teams have confirmed their attendance.
Saturday’s event will feature cars from all divisions — Sprint Cars, Late Models, Pure Stocks and the Midget Lites from the Bay Cities Racing Association — with members of their teams on hand to greet fans, sign autographs and give out various goodies and hero cards to fans of all ages.
“We’re really looking forward to this event, said defending track champion Andy Forsberg. “We love to race and we couldn’t do it without two things: tracks and fans. We will be there with the F&F Racing Team to show our support.”
In addition to the divisions competing that night, a select number of dwarf cars and wingless sprint cars have also signed up to strut their stuff.
Saturday’s event features live music by singer songwriter Cynthia Renee and guitarist Chris Kawelo.
Race fans of all ages are urged to attend for an up-close look at the machines that compete every Saturday night. For further information on this event visit placervillespeedway.com.
