Red Hawk’s Speedway sponsorship reaches 5 years

PV SPEED 2013

When the 2013 edition of the Red Hawk Casino Championship racing series kicks off in a few weeks, Placerville Speedway will be celebrating its fifth anniversary under the generous sponsorship of Red Hawk Casino.

Handy Racing Promotions, the promoters of Placerville Speedway, is grateful for its continued relationship with Red Hawk Casino. The casino’s contribution has been vital in the track’s success over the past four years and they are proud to carry this strong partnership into its fifth consecutive year.

Shortly after Red Hawk Casino opened its doors, they joined with Placerville Speedway with a contribution that succeed most others. The title sponsorship has brought upgrades to the racing facility, including the addition of a long-awaited electronic scoreboard that is integrated with the track’s state of the art electronic scoring system. Prior to the generous sponsorship, Placerville was one of few motor sports facilities lacking in such amenities.

In 2013, Red Hawk Casino continues its sponsorship of Placerville Speedway with additional presence. Race fans will enjoy occasional rewards and promotions from Red Hawk Casino which welcomes race fans and competitors as a destination after the final checkered flag of the night waves each Saturday night.

In addition to Red Hawk Casino, the events during the 2013 racing season at Placerville Speedway are presented in part by Hoosier Racing Tires, Coors Light, Thompson Auto Centers and the Mountain Democrat.

Associate sponsors and partners for 2013 include Riebe’s Auto Parts, Minute Man Press, The Paint Spot, Food 4 Less, Carls Jr. restaurants and Doug Veerkamp General Engineering who aides with equipment needs when they arise.

The Fast and Furious Dirt Track Racing Championship campaign begins on Saturday night, April 6. The 2013 racing season has plenty to offer with a wide variety of racing venues, a series of special tribute races and many high-caliber nights of racing. To keep up with all the information this season visit placervillespeedway.com.

Red Hawk Casino is located  off Highway 50 at the Red Hawk Parkway exit.just minutes from Placerville Speedway and has a large parking area to accommodate race haulers.

Great news to see the county's biggest employer supporting its biggest summer entertainment venue. Its been obvious over the last month that Placerville Speedway is working hard in the community to have a great new season with new sponsors and new events and for longtime race fans like our family this is awesome to see. Thank you to people like Bill Sullivan and the Handy's that put so much effort into continuing family tradition and making sure the sport we love continues in this town in a time when many businesses are failing and fun things for families are becoming less and less.
