SHINGLE SPRINGS — Two relay records — one back to 1972 — fell last week on the boys side as Bruins runners combined to set new records in the 4×400 and 4×100 relay races at the tri-meet with Pleasant Grove and Sheldon.

In the 4×400, Matt Culver, Trevor Hammitt, Nicolas Bruks and Alex Roberds go into the record books after their time of 3:24.08 set a new school record and erased one set in 1972.

The Bruin 4×100 quartet of Ty Scalero, Bruks, Culver and Roberds also occupy history after dashing to a record time of 42.86.
