Oak Ridge 4, Franklin 3 — The Trojans were outhit by Wildcats, 8 to 6, but picked up the win in Saturday’s nonleague game at Sacramento City College. Logan Denholm was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.
Oak Ridge 1, Folsom 5 — In Thursday’s Delta River League home game, Oak Ridge (7-2, 12-8) was led by Denholm (2-for-3). The Trojans had four hits.
Ponderosa 0, Pleasant Grove 10 — Jacob Hilliker (2-for-2) and Parker Wright (2-for-3) accounted for the Bruins’ combined four hits in Thursday’s DRL road game in Sacramento.
El Dorado 2, Union Mine 0 — The Cougars (9-5, 17-6) and the Diamondbacks (4-10, 9-13) combined for 12 hits in Thursday’s Sierra Valley Conference and intra county game at El Dorado; both had six hits each. Michael Weston was 3-for-3 for the Cougars, including a double. The D’backs’ Brendan Hunter went 2-for-3. On the mound, Nick Bonniksen hurled a six-hitter.
Golden Sierra 12, Forest Lake Christian 4 — Jeffrey Klahn did damage at the plate and mound for the Grizzlies (8-11) in Wednesday’s nonleague game in Auburn. Klahn smacked a two-run homer over the right field fence in the top of the fifth inning to help cushion Golden Sierra’s lead to 10-3. Carter Lencioni (3-for-4, 2B, 2 RBIs), Joshua Salmonson (2-for-3, 2B, RBI) accounted for most of the Grizzlies’ 11 hits. Reily Prine, Cameron Stephens, Brayden Ellis, Dakota Haddock and Beau Burgess had a hit each for Golden Sierra, which jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the second inning.

In Thursday’s Delta River League road game in Sacramento, the Lady Trojans (3-4, 12-8-1) scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning, but their rally fell short. Caitlyn Olan went 2-for-3. Oak Ridge had six hits.

The Trojans competed in the Nor Cal Classic at the Tracy Softball Complex Saturday.

The Falcons made two first-inning runs stand. Savannah Stephens went 3-for-4 for the Grizzlies; Sadie Cross doubled and Carley Kauffman had the RBI. On the hill, Marina Alexander allowed four hits and struck out 11.
