Oak Ridge 48, Sheldon 38 — The 2nd-ranked Lady Trojans outscored the host Huskies 30-16 in the second half Friday. Jenn Hoffman bucketed 13 points to lead Troy; Haley Anderson had 11; and Yumi Drossos scored 9.
Ponderosa 50, Folsom 40 — The Lady Bruins kept their playoff hopes alive with Friday’s road win. Tiffany Nesterenko scored a season-high 18 points; Danielle Craft added 10; and Morgan Martinenko had 8.
Golden Sierra 25, San Juan 52 — Kenna Barth scored a dozen to lead the Grizzlies.
Boys basketball
Golden Sierra 57, San Juan 64 — The Grizzlies fell despite outscoring the Spartans 26-15 in the fourth quarter. Jason Boyle scored 10 points; Jason Yurgelevic had 9; and Nick White (11 rebounds, four blocks), Peter Biersteker (six assists) and Rocky Sacks each scored 8.
Union Mine 42, Cosumnes Oaks 77 — The D’backs were outscored 46-18 in the second half. Alec Vaughn scored 17 points for Union Mine.
