Oak Ridge 63, Folsom 15 — The Lady Trojans held the visiting Bulldogs to single digits each quarter of Thursday’s Delta River League home win, ensuring (at the least) a share of the division banner. Thirteen Oak Ridge players scored as Troy outscored Folsom 33-5 in the second half. Yumi Drossos bucketed 9 points to lead the Trojans and Lauren Liebert and Ali Bettencourt each added 8. Oak Ridge is now 7-0 in league and three games up in the win column with three left. Troy will win the championship outright with one more victory.

Golden Sierra 21, Encina 62 

Boys basketball

Oak Ridge 39, Folsom 38 — The Trojans outscored the host Bulldogs 14-10 in the fourth quarter to win Friday’s key Delta River League matchup. Josh Simms led Oak Ridge with 10 points; Grant Dean scored 9; and Tyler Hatten added 7.
Golden Sierra 45, Highlands 58 — The visiting Grizzlies trailed 32-9 after two quarters of Friday’s Sierra Delta League loss. Peter Biersteker scored 17 points for Golden Sierra while Matt Smith added 8. The Griz outscored the Scots 30-18 in the fourth.
Union Mine 33, River City 59 — The D’backs trailed by just two at the half but managed just nine points in the second half of Thursday’s Sierra Valley Conference road loss. Alec Vaughn scored 8 points to lead Union Mine while Scott McIntyre and Daniel Saich each had 7 and Austin Russell, 6.
