Golden Sierra 6, Forest Lake Christian 5 — The Grizzlies overcame five errors and the Falcon’s four-run rally in their last at bat to win their first game of the season. Bryson Campbell went 3-for-3 with a double and Christian Klahn drove in two runs. Campbell went six innings on the mound and Beau Burgess pitched the seventh.

Ponderosa 3, Wookcreek 2 — Selena Brewer scored with seconds left for Thursday’s win. The Bruins first goal came on Alyssa Maiello’s assist to Samantha Fowler and the seconds on Zandra Newell’s pass to Maiello.

Oak Ridge 8, Union Mine 7 — The host Trojans held off the D’backs’ rally in the top of the seventh inning in Saturday’s round-robin tournament. For Oak Ridge, Lauren bertoy  went 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs; Jacki Schmaeling had a double and 3 RBIs; Jessica Burgess went 2-for-4 with a double. For Union Mine, Sarah Phillis was 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBIs; Almer was 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs; Winje was 2-for-4 with a double.
