Union Mine 14, Casa Roble 0 — The D’backs erupted for eight runs in the fifth inning to win the mercy rule-shortened game. Ronnie Hatrje went 3-for-4 while RJ Blake, Joel Pedretti and Nate Brown each had two hits. On the mound, Blake spun a one-hitter.
Golden Sierra 3, Vacaville Christian 13 — Jeffrey Klahn went 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBIs and Joshua Salmonson added an RBI.


Golden Sierra 2, Rio Vista 1 — Player of the Game Rachel Hanson scored a goal and had an assist for the Grizzlies. Melissa Comstock also scored and added an assist. Goalie Jenna Matyac had six saves.

Ponderosa 4, Cosumnes Oaks 3 — The Lady Bruins withstood the Wolfpack’s 3-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to hold on. Terra Jerpbak picked up the win and went 2-for-2 with a triple while Rachel Timberman added two hits including a double.
