Golden Sierra 13, Highlands 0 — Jordan Perry and Hollie Johnson combined on a five-inning no-hitter Wednesday as the host Grizzlies improved to 11-0 in the Sierra Delta League. Haley Leard was 3-for-4 for Golden Sierra; Emily Matthews doubled and tripled and drove in three runs; Perry went 2-for-3 with two RBIs; and Sarah Rasmussen and Johnson hit doubles.

Ponderosa 5, Folsom 4 — The Bruins held off a late charge by the host Bulldogs to snare Wednesday’s Delta River League win. Shasta Stinson picked up the win with six innings of work and the save went to Katie Pieplow. Offensively, Natalie Kessing went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs; Courtney Jenkins tripled; and Raven Ikeda double.

Golden Sierra 1, Vacaville Christian 2 — The Grizzlies lost their last Sierra Delta League match Wednesday but still made the playoffs with a third place finish. Taylor Gleason scored Golden Sierra’s goal, Erin Anderson assisted and Kayla Anderson had eight saves in goal.
