Ponderosa 0, Folsom 2 — In Wednesday’s Delta River League home finale, the Bruins had six hits. Logan Ito and Parker Wright went 2-for-3 each for Ponderosa (1-14, 5-22).
Ponderosa 4, Folsom 5 — The Bruins had five hits in Tuesday’s DRL road game. Ryan Carey was 2-for-4 at the plate.

Softball 

Ponderosa 4, Sheldon 7 — The playoff-bound Lady Bruins had nine hits in Tuesday’s Delta River League road/regular season finale. Ponderosa (6-4, 13-6-1) led 2-1 until the bottom of the second inning when the Huskies scored three times for a 4-2 lead. Terra Jerpbak went 2-for-4 for the Bruins. Taylor Doane, Shawna Boley, Erin Anderson, Cassidy Lujan, Madison Anderson, Veronica Greene and Rachel Timberman had a hit each.
Union Mine 5, Oak Ridge 4 — In Tuesday’s intra-county/nonleague game in El Dorado Hills, the visiting Lady Diamondbacks were outhit by the Lady Trojans, 10-9. But Union Mine (15-5-1) scored the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning. Miah Linson had three RBIs for the D’backs. Calista Almer (2-for-5), Shyanne Winje (2-for-3, RBI) and Jessica Dager (2-for-3) had the bulk of the D’backs’ nine hits. Madelynn Heape and Laura Dager had a hit each. Caitlyn Olan went 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Lady Trojans. Lindsay Zito (3B) and Hannah Moore had two hits each for Oak Ridge, while teammates Kendall Kelly, Amber Orchard (2B), Reagen Jacobs, Katelyn Castro (2B) and Taylor Railey (2B) had a hit each.
Oak Ridge 3, St. Francis 8 — Olan and Castro had two hits each for the Lady Trojans (3-7, 12-12-1) in Tuesday’s DRL finale in Sacramento. Sky Divinagracia, Railey and Moore had a hit each for Oak Ridge.
