Oak Ridge boys 10, Jesuit 5 — The Trojans led 6-3 in Wednesday’s Delta Valley Conference road match and outscored the two-time defending section champion Marauders 4-1 in the fourth quarter to lock up the win. Scoring-wise for Oak Ridge, Austin Turville had 4 goals; Bryan Bare had 3; Bryan Cole scored twice; and Kyle Bare added one goal.
“We knew we had a chance and went down to their pool and played a good match,” Troy coach Don McCormick said. “It’s big for our program to beat a quality program like that.”

Golden Sierra 2, Vacaville Christian 0 — Matt Smith scored two goals for the Grizzlies (2-1-1, 4-5-1) in their Sierra Delta League game Tuesday in Vacaville. Smith scored a goal in the first and second halves. Kyle Shiba and Cory Danielson-McKeague had an assist each. Goalie Jonny O’Brien had five saves. Golden Sierra had 11 shots on goal, with Smith taking five.
Union Mine 2, River City 3— In Tuesday’s Sierra Valley Conference game in West Sacramento, Bryce Yapple and Tomas Lowry scored a goal each for the Diamondbacks (0-2, 0-3). Esteban Gonzalez had assists for Union Mine. Goalie Nick Boring had 10 saves and Daniel Saich was a leader on defense.
