Barracudas snap up Sierra Sharks

FOLSOM — In a close meet, the Sierra Sharks swim team lost a close meet to the Broadstone Barracudas, 401-387, on July 20.

“Close swim meet; difference of 15 points throughout the entire meet,” said Dino Pellicano, one of the Sharks’ assistant coaches.

Bringing home top honors for the Sharks in the girls division wereAlyssa Harmon and Analeis Vos in the 7-8 age bracket;  Delaney Lardie and Kaleigh Hartigan in the 11-12 bracket; Ashlie Stoddard and Claire Hoffman in the 13-14 bracket and Alexandra Nisson and Gabi Avallone.

For the boys, Preston Vukovich (9-10), Austen Pellicano (11-12), Seth Wilmoth (13-14) and San Rackwitz joined Spencer Nisson (15-18) in making a splash.
