SIERRA-AT-TAHOE — South 1 Division alpine skiers and snowboarders hold their last race with today’s Giant Slalom on Lower Main at Sierra-at-Tahoe, the final day to qualify for next week’s state championships at Northstar.

If confirmed, immediately afterward will be the award ceremony. The tightest team race is on the boy’s ski side where 40 points separate first place Ponderosa, second place El Dorado and third place Oak Ridge — the latter two within four points of the other.

Look for race results in Wednesday’s Democrat.
