Sports scene 3/15

Flag football
Cameron Park Community Services District is proud to announce that this season’s Flag Football League will be through the NFL. With the NFL on board comes flags, new rules, and NFL team jerseys. Practices are once a week and games will be played on Saturday afternoons at Christa McAuliffe Park. The season runs from April 13 to June 1 and is open for second to eighth graders. Walk in the Wild
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is holding a Walk In the Wild for women. The 5k, 10, 10 mile and 13.1 miles course are for girls ages 12 and older. The Walk in the Wild will take place Saturday, Mar. 16 at the Jacquier Road, the El Dorado Trail head. For more information, contact Leslie Goodwin at 530-363-4626 or e-mail landlg@direction.net.
