Wanted: Youth flag football coaches
Volunteer coaches for the flag football season is needed. The season begins in September. Coaches will be responsible for teaching proper techniques and skills to players in a fun and safe environment. There will be one to two practices a week at the coach’s discretion and games on Saturdays. There are eight total games in a season and age groups range from second to fourth graders and fifth to eighth graders. Fall Basketball League
Join the new Cameron Park High Scxhool Fall Basketball League for the Sept 9 to Nov. 4 season at the Community Center Gym. Includes playoffs. Sign a team up or be a free agent. Cost per team is $425.

Karate/Taekwondo
For ages 13 and up. Work on hand/foot and eye coordination development. Work on strikes, kicks, blocks, focus and self discipline. Two classes: Monday and Wednesdays, Sept. 9 to Oct.30; and Oct. 21 to Dec. 16. From 7:45-8:30 p.m. Class at the Cameron Park Taekwondo, Cameron Park Drive, Suite 103. Instructor Mr. and Mrs. Westphal and Ms. Jones. Fee is $124/$119 with CP resident discount.

Table Tennis
Improve balance and hand-eye coordination, exercise and make new friends. Join the Table Tennis Club and Instructor Roy Imai at the Communuty Center Gym. Classes in Sept, Oct., Nov. and Dec. starting the first week of the month from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring own equipment. Beginner table tennis paddle and ball can be purchased for $10. Cost of each class is $49/$44 if CP resident. Dec. cost is $39/$34 CP resident.
