Golf for Kids’ Sake
Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County will hold the Golf for Kids’ Safe Golf Tournament at the Cameron Park Country Club, 3201 Royal Drive, on Monday, July 29. Registration goes from 10 to 11 a.m. and is $150 per team. During that time, people can purchase raffle tickets and mulligans. A silent auction is scheduled to take place and live auction items will be available to view. The driving range and putting green will also be available for those taking part in the tourney. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a barbecue lunch will be served. At 12:30 p.m., the opening ceremony and shotgun start is expected to begin. Golfing concludes at 6 p.m. with a dinner, ceremony and live auction. According to Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County, former Major League Baseball players Greg Vaughn, Jerry Manual, Leon Lee and Rowland Office. Former Sacramento Kings guard and assistant coach Bobby Jackson and Petrie Byrd from the “Judge Judy” TV show are also scheduled to take part in the tourney.
