Golf for a cause
The “Bob West Drive for Marshall” 30th annual golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 28, at the Cold Springs Golf and Country Club. Entry fee is $175. Sponsorships are available. Basketball Skills Camp
Join coach Sheri Millhollin and the Cameron Park AAU Jr. Bruins, June 24-27, for the Hoop it Up Basketball Skills Camp for grades 4-7 at the Community Center Gym. Basketball Camp
For grades 1-9 at the Community Center Gym Monday-Thurs July 8-11. Join the Ponderosa girls/boys coaches who’ll conduct players in the fundamentals of basketball. Camp focuses on individual/team offensive  skills and concepts: shooting, passing, rebounding, dribbling, movement without the ball, team work, defense, games and proper mental attitude. Table Tennis Club
Exercise, improve balance/hand-eye coordination and make new friends. Join the Table Tennis Club at the Community Center with instructor Roy Imai. Pre-Academy Tennis
Beginning/intermediate class at the Cameron Park Lake tennis court for ages 8-17. Tennis basics will be taught by Robert Gram along with advanced skills and techniques. Tiny Tots Tennis
For ages 4-7 at the Cameron Park Lake tennis court. Intro to tennis — basic tennis skills, footwork, coordination building and sportsmanship is taught through fun games and drills.
