West Coast Youth Football will be holding a quarterback school that will teach the fundamentals to youth football players interested in playing the position at Oak Ridge High on Friday, June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 28 from 8 to 11 a.m. Seven Division scholarship quarterbacks have attended this school as a youth football player. Former Oak Ridge head football coaches Chris Jones and Mark Watson will bring each quarterback to the next level. The cost is $149. The school is limited to 24 participants. Advanced passing and receiving school
West Coast Youth Football is having an advanced passing and receiving school at Oak Ridge High from Monday, July 7 to Wednesday, July 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. This school will group players by age, grade, experience and ability. Players from the same team — playing together on the same youth team — will work together during group and team periods of practice. There have been 19 Division I scholarship players who have attended this school. The cost is $125. For more information and registration, visit wcyf.com.
