Ponderosa Foundation
Ponderosa High School Foundation has its 9th Annual Spring Banquet Mar. 21 at the Rescue Communit Center. Seating is limited. Cost of $50 per person includes a catered dinner, student entertainment, student servers, the fine wines of Bruin alumnus Scott Harvey and a small number of auction items (including desserts). The featured speaker is Mike Pereira, current Fox Sports NFL Rules Analyst. The no-host social hour is 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7. Youth Basketball Camp
Cameron Park CSD is sponsoring a camp on basic basketball fundamentals and skills training while emphasizing game play, shooting, dribbling, footwork and having fun learning the game.  The camp is for players grades 4-8 and starts March 19, 20 or 21 depending on division. The program will be divided up separately for  beginning boys and girls grades 4-6: Wednesday evenings; beginning boys and girls grades 7-8: Thursday evenings; and novice boys and girls grades 7-8 Friday evenings.
