Youth basketball leagues

Signups are ongoing for the Cameron Park Recreation Dept. Youth Basketball Leagues open to grades 1-12. Grades 1-2 in an instructional league with one hour games on Saturdays. Fee is $95 resident/$100 non resident. Price includes T-shirt. Registration deadline is Dec. 5. Registration fees for 3-12 (one pracice/game per week) is $105 resident/$110 non resident. Price includes jersey. Games begin Nov. 20. Registration deadline is Dec. 7. Also looking for volunteer coaches. Coach needed

Pleasant Grove Middle School is seeking an 8th grade girls basketball coach for the upcoming season. Position includes stipend. If interested contact Matt Hardt at 530-672-4400 for further details.

Rec officials

Gold Country Officials, for the past 20 years, has provided basketball and flag football officials for the Placerville and Cameron Park Recreation Departments and takes pride in hiring the youth of El Dorado County. They’re announcing training clinics at the Placerville Rec. Dept. Nov. 11 and 18 at 6:30 p.m. For information call Al Pitetti at 622-5841 or at official@cal.net.

Adult 5X5 Basketball

The Cameron Park Community Service District is taking team signups for the next Tuesday evening adult basketball league. The league starts Nov. 20 and will run thru Jan. 22. Deadline for registration is Nov. 13 at 5:00 pm. The team fee is $425. For further information, contact the CSD office at 677-2231.

Wrestling signups

The El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club is accepting signups now for the winter season. Youth in grades K-8 interested in learning the sport, improving skills and competing are encouraged to join. For information or to sign up go to the Website EDHwrestling.com or e-mail EDHwrestling@ymail.com.
