Coach needed

Oak Ridge High School is looking for a girls lacrosse head coach to add to the staff. If interested, please send a letter of interest and resume to the Oak Ridge High School Athletic Office, 1120 Harvard Way, El Dorado Hills, 95762 by Nov. 26. Applicants must be 25 years or older.

Wrestling signups

The El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club is still accepting signups now for the winter folkstyle season for youth in grades K-8. Signup date is Monday, Nov. 26 between 5-6 p.m. at Golden Hills School, 1060 Suncast Lane, El Dorado Hills. For information or to sign up go to the Website EDHwrestling.com.

Spring softball

Foothill Girl’s Softball League is taking registrations through Dec. 31 for its spring league for girls ages 5-15. For information visit fgsl.org.

Santa Run

A 5K “Santa Run” is scheduled for Dec. 1 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The run starts and ends at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive. Sign ups begin at 7 a.m., and the race starts at 8. Pre-registration fee for the run is $25 for adults and $15 for those 17 and under. Your registration fee includes a large pancakes, eggs and bacon breakfast. If you choose to enjoy breakfast and not run, the breakfast cost is $5. Cubs Basketball

Ponderosa High Basketball is sponsoring a five-week Fundamentals and Fun program for grades 1-8. Divisions broken into grades 1-3, 4-6 and 7-8. Randon team selection. One hour of skills training each week and one game each week. Saturdays only starting Jan. 12. Ponderosa players will serve as referees and coaches. Cost is $110. Registration deadline is Dec. 15. Youth basketball leagues

Signups are ongoing for the Cameron Park Recreation Dept. Youth Basketball Leagues open to grades 1-12. Grades 1-2 in an instructional league with one hour games on Saturdays. Fee is $95 resident/$100 non resident. Price includes T-shirt. Registration deadline is Dec. 5. Registration fees for 3-12 (one pracice/game per week) is $105 resident/$110 non resident. Price includes jersey. Registration deadline is Dec. 7. Also looking for volunteer coaches.
