Softball Tournament

The El Dorado High softball team is hosting an Adult C0-Ed Softball Tournament at Lyons Park on Saturday, Oct. 27 as a fundraiser to support high school athletes. The format is two pitch, 50-minute games with a 3-game guarantee. Games begin at 8 a.m. Division champions receive T-shirts up to 13 players. Entry fee is $295 per team. Youth Basketball

Cameron Park Recreation Department is taking signups for its Youth Basketball League, open to grades 1-12. Grades 1-2 is an instructional league, consisting of one hour games on Saturdays. There is no practice for this league. Fee is $95 resident/$100 non-resident. Price includes T-shirt. Registration deadline for 1st/2nd grade is Dec. 5 . Grades 3-12 have practices once a week and games. Limited weekday practices will begin the week of Dec. 10. Registration deadline is Nov. 9. High School registration deadline is Nov. 20 with their skills clinic TBA. Games are scheduled to begin Jan 19. The registration fee for grades 3-12 is $105/$110 non-resident fee. Price includes jersey. Also looking for volunteer coaches. Pre-registration is required and can be done online at or at the Cameron Park CSD Office at 2502 Country Club Drive. Coach needed

Pleasant Grove Middle School is seeking an 8th grade girls basketball coach for the upcoming season. Position includes stipend. If interested contact Matt Hardt at 530-672-4400 for further details.
