CAMERON PARK — The El Dorado Hills Tasmanian Devils defeated the Sierra Sharks 422-367 last Saturday in an intra-county swim matchup at the Cameron Park Community Services District Pool.

The meet was close, competitive and both teams demonstrated great sportsmanship. At various breaks during the meet, the spread was between 10-15 points.

Individually, the Taz, led by three wins each from Patrick Sammon, 8, and Curtis Seabourne, 10, won 34 events. The Sharks placed first 26 times, led by Maisie Mora, 16, and Talon Green, 14, who also touched first in three races. The Taz boys were victorious in 20 races while Sierra’s girls won 15 times.

El Dorado Hills’ 7-8 and 11-12 year-old swimmers won all but five individual events.

In relay outcomes, the Sharks held a 12-9 edge.

Both teams have the upcoming weekend before July 4 off and return to the pool the following weekend.
