SACRAMENTO — Golden Sierra qualified all three of its wrestlers it sent to Saturday’s Golden Empire/Sierra Delta League Tournament at Capital Christian.

Senior Patrick Lewis took first place after pining all three of his opponents to become a four-time league champion. He now sits five pins away from the school career pin record.

Jordan Miyara finished third in the tournament and second in league.

Joseph Herrera, first in league, took fifth in the tournament, wrestling in a tough weight class. He drew Devon Turner, returning masters qualifier, in the first round and lost by technical fall. He won his next match and then lost to the third-place finisher.

Three JV Grizzlies competed. Coy Collins took first, Eli Perez was second and Brenden Orliczki ended up fourth.
