“This was a great win for us,” head coach Chad Walden said. “Our attack line with Tanner (Rosenbaum), Conner (Herr) and Austin (Hunter) played its best game of the year.”
Persistent offense would win the day and Troy’s front line was impeccable with pressure up front. Oak Ridge outshot Davis throughout the evening.
Rosenbaum tallied three goals while teammates Ryan Price, Christian Dardano, Herr and Hunter each contributed a goal. Herr picked up two assists while Rosenbaum, Josh Wellman, Colton Giorgi, Hunter and Trevor Lindemann each earned one apiece.
“We’ve got two games left until playoffs,” Walden said. “Hopefully we are coming together at the right time and will peak during the final stretch.”
The Trojan JV team prevailed 13-8.
