Former Oak Ridge wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu caught the game-winning 26-yard touchdown pass for the San Diego Chargers in their 41-38 win at Kansas City a week ago. Ajirotutu’s catch came with 24 seconds left in the game. As a Trojan senior in 2004, Ajirotutu led Oak Ridge with 76 catches for 1,205 yards and 17 touchdowns. In Troy’s 34-27 win over Del Oro for the section title that year, Ajirotutu caught 6 passes for 194 yards and three scores.

Ajirotutu played for Chris Jones at Oak Ridge. He played college ball at Fresno State and has also played for the Carolina Panthers. Ajirotutu has three career NFL touchdowns. This is his second stint with San Diego.
