EL DORADO HILLS — The 25th Christine Craft Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Oak Ridge High, takes place tomorrow with three local teams among the 16 schools participating in the annual event.

Held in honor of Craft, a Trojan volleyball player who lost her life shortly after graduation, the Craft tourney takes place at Vista del Lago in Folsom due to the gym expansion at Oak Ridge.
Aside from Troy, El Dorado and Golden Sierra will also compete.
There will be four pools. Each team plays a trio of round-robin matches within its pool. According to Oak Ridge head coach Breanne Horton, the afternoon championship rounds begin between 2:30 and 3:30.
In pool play with the Trojans is Christian Brothers, Del Oro and Will C. Wood. El Dorado is grouped with Lincoln, Roseville and Vacaville while Golden Sierra is paired with Whitney, Nevada Union and Vista.
Last season, Oak Ridge went 4-1 on the day. In bracket play, Troy was 1-1 as was the Cougars and Grizzlies. The Trojans’ one setback was to El Camino which went undefeated.
Pool play begins at 8 a.m.
