DIAMOND SPRINGS-EL DORADO Fire Protection District engineer Dave Phillips operates the controls on Engine 49 Saturday evening as fire and emergency personnel battle a structure fire at an abandoned home in El Dorado. The fire was reported at 8:46 p.m. and was located at 6044 Pleasant Valley Road near El Dorado Road.
