Sept. 10, 1927 – July 19, 2012
Born Sept. 10, 1927 in San Fernando Valley to Herbert Sr. and Francis Fullerton. He passed away in his sleep on July 19, 2012. He met the love of his life when he drove up to Simi High School in his roadster to pick up friends and there stood Jackie Proctor. It was love at first sight. They were not allowed to go on dates until he helped Jackie do all her farming chores: milking cows, feeding the hogs and bailing hay with her parents Stanley and Pearl Proctor. They soon married and had 5 children. In 1953 they packed up there 1936 Ford Pick-up and moved to Placerville. Herb was an avid mechanic and could literally fix anything. He worked over ten years for Aerojet, then a year at Kelly Motors in Sonora. Moved back to Placerville to be closer to his family and was employed for Michigan Cal Lumber in Camino for 20 years until his retirement in 1990. He also served as Union President. He enjoyed his flower garden and tinkering in his shop.
He leaves his ex wife Jackie Fullerton Mark of Oregon and his 3 brothers Charlie, Ronnie and Gary. His sister Francis (Lamar) Dunster. His children Georgina (George) Miller, Linda (Paul) Ingles, Larry (Linda) Fullerton, Tina (Ken) Pebley, Angie (Glen) Downs.
