Venus and Jupiter Snuggle

It’s a dreams-come-true kind of day. The activities you’re doing for fun will be the main focus. If you’re not making money at it but are doing it because it’s just fun, strongly consider how you might someday do it for money. While lucky Jupiter and love goddess Venus are snuggling up in Leo, anything can happen.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). There’s a magic that wouldn’t happen without you. When you give yourself to the situation, all of the pieces fall in line. Don’t discount your contribution, or others will, too.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You’re a Teflon person today — none of the mess will stick to you. Frustrations and problems slide right off of you with minimal effort. You’re a walking lesson in resilience.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your more obscure talents or skills will be put to use. You will accomplish what could not have been accomplished without you, and that should make you feel pretty special indeed. There is no one in the entire universe like you.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). If you are modest and understated, you won’t offend anyone. If you are verbose, you will offend a few. So the question is: Is what you have to say worth rallying the troops for?

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Are you clear in your communication? If not, you’ll get the evidence of that today. And if so, you’ll get the evidence of that today. For better or worse, this is a day of evidence.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). There are times when it’s good to stand out in a crowd, and there are times when it’s not. This is a blending kind of day, and you’ll benefit from listening, absorbing and mirroring the others.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You are inquisitive, and you will collect knowledge today. Write it down. You’ll want to arrange and rearrange this knowledge until it creates solutions for you, which is more easily done in paper form.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Look at the back of an American five-dollar bill and ponder why the numbers “172” are found in the image of the bushes at the base of the Lincoln Memorial. This and at least three other mysteries await your imagination today.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Everyone walks the line between self-confidence and vanity, some more precisely than others. Don’t be so modest that you forget to stand up for yourself.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Blandness is a necessary part of life. You need to shift into neutral every once in a while, and this is such a day. Do the activities that help you go back to your natural setpoint.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Catch up. Don’t let things get out of hand. Do what needs doing in the moment. Your world will reflect the organization of your intent. Note: The fewer things you have the easier it will be to manage them.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You won’t love what every person contributes to your scene, but putting up with another person’s bad manners is one way to prove your good manners.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (Aug. 18). Fun-time activities just could become your work. A new way of thinking about things will open up your perspective in September. Give back to society in October, and soon you’re off on a new trajectory that has to do with generosity, philanthropy and generally making the world a better place. Children play a huge part in December decisions. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 19, 22, 28 and 15.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: “How can I get my Aquarius child off to school on time in the morning? She hates to wake up, she’s pokey about getting dressed, and she’s always changing her mind at the last minute about what to wear and/or bring. She’s missed the bus several times this year.”

Since promptness is a character attribute that will serve your Aquarius well throughout her life, this is a good one to nip in the bud. Your daughter could be sleep deprived. Try starting your nighttime routine an hour earlier. Your creative Aquarius enjoys expressing herself through clothing, and she can take more time with this if she does it the night before. Have her pick out her clothes for the next morning and lay them out. Include one backup outfit, but only one. Tell her she must wear one of those outfits in the morning. Have her put her school bag together, complete with all homework and whatever else she needs to bring. After the morning’s clothes and bag are assembled, have her take a bath or shower before bed. This will relax her and help her get to sleep sooner. Lastly, wake her up 10 minutes earlier in the morning. It will make all the difference.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star and “SNL” alumnus Andy Samberg was born under a bright Leo sun, and his communication planet was in Leo, the sign of entertainment, as well. His moon in bright Aquarius is opposed to the Leo vibration, suggesting a dissonance between emotions and reality: the stuff of good comedy. If it doesn’t make sense, make it funny, and have a good laugh!
