Venus Squares Saturn
To put it lightly, Venus in Aquarius isn’t totally jibing with Saturn in Scorpio. Or, in a heavier sense, Venus is actually antagonizing the planet of lessons in a possibly incendiary manner. Usually when passions flare, it’s a good thing, but today we might be passionate about the wrong things. Desire requires vigilant monitoring.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Sometimes it seems like you’re doing the hard thing on purpose. Make a conscious effort to go easy on yourself today. Life doesn’t have to be difficult and complicated.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The insider view is always different from the view from the outside. But every single view there is will be different. Also, since reality is usually not what it seems to be, all views should be questioned.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The time you spend imagining will be very productive, since reality usually chases your dreams around. It’s not hard to be creative. Just make some blanks and then fill them in.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). The emotions you go through today are so specific to you and your situation that you just don’t see the point in trying to explain them to someone who couldn’t possibly relate. But try. It will help both of you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Just as there are many factors impacting your notion of fairness, others have their own criteria for justice. Meeting in the middle may not be possible, but if you can hear each other out, you’ll get closer to a resolution.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You are hungry to learn now. You have a way of pulling everything out of your teachers, and they are happy to give it to you. Also, you consider each person you meet to be one of your teachers.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). The plot thickens. Many will impose a particular moral viewpoint. You will perceive this scene in a nonjudgmental way, and because of this, you’ll see opportunities there that other people miss.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Sometimes your world is made more beautiful by your habit of categorizing and labeling it. But too much organization, and things quickly become sterile. So you’ll enjoy today’s creative little mess.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Like a child with a new toy, you want to play with the tools you’re given today, but you may not have a sufficient amount of free time to do so. Your mood will improve if you can steal extra moments!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The funny thing about self-discipline is that often it doesn’t really come from the “self” at all. Rather, it’s a byproduct of following someone wise who knows the ropes.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The X-factor is hard to define, but you can always tell when someone has it or doesn’t. You have it like crazy now, which is why you’re so popular. Don’t waste time trying to figure it out; just enjoy it.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). There’s something you’re not getting, and truthfully, because you are so thorough, it could take a while. But the good news is that when you learn something, you don’t forget it.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 11). The next five weeks bring a rite of passage. Your personal life and social lineup undergo a positive transformation through March and April. In May, you’ll find happiness in nature and in the many ways you can experience planet Earth. July brings renovations and lifestyle upgrades. Sagittarius and Scorpio people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 1, 24, 39 and 17.
LOVE AND THE AIR SIGNS: Is your valentine an air sign? Gemini, Libra and Aquarius have an approach to relationships that’s all their own. These lovely intellectuals understand the magnificent role the mind plays in romance. The games of love are best won with mental strategies. Air signs will spend a great deal of time thinking about how to delight, challenge and learn about their love interest. They also love imagining different scenarios involving their love that may or may not be in the realm of real-life possibility. Their fantasy of love informs the reality of the relationship regardless of how realistic those fantasies may be.
Even though air signs can be wonderfully spontaneous and usually don’t have a problem adapting to surprises or last-minute decisions and changes, one of the best gifts you could give your air-sign love is something to look forward to. A concert, trip or special night out that’s a few weeks away will be fodder for your air sign’s fantasy life. Your air sign will find almost as much pleasure in imagining how the upcoming event might unfold as he or she will in the actual event.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Taylor Lautner stole the hearts of women and wolves as Jacob Black, the most beloved werewolf of recent years. The Aquarian actor will visit the lighter side with his portrayal of frat boy Andy in Adam Sandler’s new comedy “Grown Ups 2.” Born under four Capricorn planets, Lautner has serious business acumen. Perhaps he will follow in Sandler’s footsteps and one day produce his own films.
