The Gabby Gemini Moon

The relief that comes from Mercury’s direct status and the moon in Gemini (one of Mercury’s favorites) will inspire conversations today and tomorrow. The less talkative among us will have just as much to share. The line between sharing and over-sharing will be blurred, and most people don’t mind knowing a little more than they need to.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Money is not at the root of all evil. Evil is. You may feel a bit guilty about having more than someone else has, but there’s nothing wrong or bad about this. When you use your resources well, it helps everyone.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You’ll make decisions, not excuses. You know that the one who takes decisive action is not only attractive, but also is probably way too busy for self-doubt.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Much will depend on how badly you want “it.” Sacrifices will be necessary, but if “it” is a must-have in your life, you’ll find a way to make it happen, no matter how inconvenient the sacrifices are.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Life doesn’t have to be fair to be good. Also, what seems unjust in the moment may be absolutely perfect in the large-scale scoring system of the universe.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Since there’s not a lot of time for arguing, you may find it expedient to agree to disagree, or agree to keep an open mind. The most sophisticated people are able to believe two conflicting ideas at once.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Sometimes things you’ve wished for just plop into your lap from out of the blue. But right now there is a little more work involved. At the very least, you’ll have to ask to get.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Nobody’s perfect, but you’re always up for making improvements. The key to becoming a better person is accepting the parts of your personality that need work and making a conscious effort.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Unafraid of the judgment of your peers, you are happy to stand in the light and confront anyone around with a degree of implacable attention. You’re one to be reckoned with.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your friends will have something in common with the birds today as they twitter and squabble on a topic of interest. Just be careful of what you put in writing, as it could go on record for all to see.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Take a realistic look at your workload. It’s fun to have several projects to bounce around in your schedule, but too many will leave you feeling drained and unaccomplished. Make cutbacks where necessary.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You’ll be loved by posterity and also by your contemporaries. You’re in a creative mood and will make decisions based not only the current needs, but also on how you want to be remembered.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). There are moments when your compassion is luminous; your selflessness, heroic. At other times, you wonder, “What’s in it for me?” It’s a self-protective question that is necessary this afternoon.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 18). You’ll be filled with boldness. Relationships might seem like a lot of nonsense in April, but it all ties together brilliantly in the months that follow. May demands practical action and follow through. June brings an important step forward in love. Research business deals in July, and don’t sign a thing until August. Libra and Sagittarius people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 20, 14, 33, 24 and 2.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: “After five years with an incredible woman, I’m back at this place again, and I can hardly believe it. Woody Allen says it best in “Annie Hall”: Love fades. At this point, there is a lot of research that backs up this idea.

“Yep, I cheated, she left, and now I’m wondering whether I’m ever going to be in it for the long haul again. This is one I shouldn’t have let go, but I lost the feeling, and then I messed up. I definitely want her back, but truthfully, won’t this scenario just repeat somewhere down the line? What is the point? It doesn’t help that I’m a Sagittarius and she is a Leo.”

Gotcha. The wandering Sagittarius and the royal lioness: two fire signs and a stellar match. But once her Leo pride has been wounded, there’s no going back to the way things were. On the bright side, you seem to really know yourself and have a realistic view of your relationships. Have you considered seeking love with someone who wants an open arrangement? Perhaps you’re just not suited for the traditional model at this time in your life.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Maroon 5 front man and coach on “The Voice,” Adam Levine is a soulful Pisces born under a sultry Scorpio moon. With Uranus also in Scorpio, it somehow doesn’t seem surprising that the singer and his tattooed skin have been famously photographed in various states of undress. Scorpio energy can be as raw and revealing as a love song and as bold as a provocative photo campaign.
