Libra Moon Considerations
People have a tendency to project their own situation onto others, assuming similarities that may or may not exist. It’s a limiting, immature and very common way to operate. The Libra moon of relationships urges us to remember and be sensitive to the fact that everyone has different stresses and responsibilities.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Sometimes you wonder whether you’ll be able to fulfill all of the details of that contract you made long ago. If you put your mind to it, you will make good on every last line item.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Life is difficult for those with big egos and for all who have to deal with them. That’s why you make a conscious effort to starve and shrink your own ego through selfless service.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Love happens best in a state of total relaxation. That’s why it’s harder for you to form bonds with those around whom, for whatever reason, you can’t totally relax.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). It doesn’t make sense to create a bunch of rules and regulations for a relationship, because you’ll both do what comes naturally anyway. Consider playing it by ear.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You’re a mystery. That’s good because it’s the unexplainable moments that keep life from becoming a stale ritual. Leave room for wonder. Don’t rush to make sense of things.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You’ll seek the words of the wise and then disagree totally. It’s a good sign. Because you’re not blindly following along, you’ll eventually develop into a better you, instead of a clone of someone else.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You were meant to lead the group, but the timing just hasn’t been right yet. The key thing you need in order to take control is awareness. Stay sharp and observant, and you’ll notice the opening you’re looking for.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). A strong mind is also a happy mind. It is happy because it has learned to let go of the thoughts that make it unhappy. Prove your mental strength by dropping the thoughts you don’t want.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Not everything that feels pleasant in the moment is necessarily positive, but at least 80 percent of it will be. So if you’re doing the thing that puts a smile on your face, chances are it’s good for you, too.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Some of your talents are hard to explain and may not translate well to those who can’t relate. But the ones who get you really get you and will applaud you and pay you, too.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). If your mind is full of chatter, you will not be able to perceive what’s in front of you. The chatter will distort and block you. You have to get rid of it. Hard exercise is one effective way.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You’re not looking for approval or agreement from others, but you do require that they give you a certain quality of respect. Don’t budge on this matter today.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (July 5). You go into your solar year with a particular need, and you can afford to be picky about this one. Hold out for the ideal because it will come to you. Taurus and Gemini people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 40, 21, 37, 12 and 16.
From the archives, a Scorpio fears that his dreams are a bad omen: “I have a disturbing recurring dream about my girlfriend. I dream that I’m in a wooded area, and I find her living there in a cave. I try to get her to come with me, but she says that we can only be together in the woods. Then I notice that she has a tail. Sometimes the tail is fluffy, and sometimes it’s more like a switch. Anyway, I haven’t told my girlfriend about these dreams, but I’m worried that they are telling me something negative about her, because in the dream, I feel like I have to get away from her. I’m a Scorpio, and my girlfriend is a Taurus.”
A recurring dream is one tool your subconscious uses to get your attention, intuitive Scorpio. Since the emotion of a dream is one of your best interpretive clues, I gather that going deeper into the “woods” of this relationship is frightening to you on some level. As for your Taurus’ tail, was it like a cow’s tail or a foxtail? Investigate the mythological creature called a Huldra for further clues. She is beautiful and seductive, though she hides a cow (or fox) tail and usually has disruptive intentions.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: In his time, he was the greatest showman alive. P.T. Barnum famously founded the circus that became the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. An intuitive Cancer water sign, he brought the first aquarium to America. What moon do you think Barnum was born under? Leo, of course! Barnum also had Venus in Leo, the sign of the entertainer.
