DIAMOND SPRINGS El Dorado Fire Protection District engineer Dave Phillips operates the controls on engine 49 Saturday evening as fire and emergency personnel battle a structure fire at an abandoned home in El Dorado. The fire was reported at around 9pm and was located on Pleasant Valley Road near El Dorado Road in the town of El Dorado.
